Albert Watson with new series INK at Kahmann Gallery
Anyone who currently walks into Kahmann Gallery on Lindengracht in the Jordaan neighborhood will come face to face with the work of legendary photographer Albert Watson. For the new photo series INK, Watson reinterpreted his own work by adding textures, ink patterns and different photographic layers on top of each other. With amazing results as a result.
Inspiration never seems far away for Albert Watson (Scotland, 1942). The influential photographer need only look into his rich archive to come up with ideas. His new work consists of images that he reinterprets and gives new meaning. The combination of digital and analog techniques that he applies to existing work ensures that something completely unique is created.
Albert Watson is world-renowned for his iconic images of celebrities and fashion shoots. As a photographer, Watson has been successful for decades with work he has done for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Rolling Stone, among others. People also praise the photographer for his legendary advertising campaigns for world-famous brands.
