Every month young and old dance to the finest Latin tunes at Summer Breeze at the Westergasfabriek grounds and now it's time for the Summer Breeze Latin Festival at the Vondelpark. Here you go for a swinging afternoon of dance and music, from salsa to Merengue, Bachata and Regaetton. There will also be a spectacular performance by the winners of the 2019 NK Salsa.
The Summer Breeze Latin Festival Program
The Summer Breeze Latin Festival will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.. Due to the expected crowds, the organization advises everyone to arrive early. Full is full and from then on the 1-in-1-out rule applies.
13.30-14.15: Friday dancing with DJ Willy
14.15-14.45: Bachata workshop by Mario Suarez
2:45-15:15: Dance animations with the audience by Ernesto, Pasty and Lorenzo. Standing still is impossible.
15:15-15:30: Shows in different dance styles
15.30-16.00: Friday dancing with DJ Willy
16.00-17.30: Live Salsa band 'Accion con Clave'

Brewery 't IJ acquires 't Blauwe Theehuis
Famous brewer lands in Vondelpark this summer
Since its establishment in 1985, it has been impossible to imagine Amsterdam East without the artisanal Brewery 't IJ. Located next to the original windmill De Gooyer in Oost, it has now become an icon of the city. This summer, 't Blauwe Theehuis in the Vondelpark will be transformed into a tasting room of the famous brewery in collaboration with Renato's Pizzeria.
