Kings Day 2019

On April 27, it's time for Koningsdag 2019 in Amsterdam. On this day, the streets of the city are filled with cheerfully partying people. Join the revelry in the streets, parks and squares. Stroll the free markets for a bargain and toast the king with an orange bitters!

On King's Day, most cafes, terraces and markets are open from 09:00. Parties and events can be found all over the city, therefore it is wise to put on sturdy footwear!

Official celebrations and festivals
