In addition to the tournament itself, there is the KLM Open Village with terraces, stores and activities for all ages. This creates an atmosphere closer to a festival than a silent sports audience along the line.<\/p>\n<h2>The tournament itself<\/h2>\n<p>The International has already hosted the KLM Open in 2024 and 2025, with Sergio Garcia and Connor Syme as winners, respectively. The course is known to be technically demanding. The prize pool is $2.75 million.<\/p>\n<p>The honorary list of the KLM Open reads like a survey of the biggest names in golf history: Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Olaz\u00e1bal and Martin Kaymer all won there. This is what sets golf as a live sport apart from most other sports: you walk along, stand three feet away from the players, and see the concentration and technique up close.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>At Beat the Pro, you get the chance to compete against a professional on the course. Anyone who buys a ticket for Thursday, Friday or Saturday has a chance to win a spot.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The International is easily accessible by bicycle, with free bicycle parking right at the entrance. By public transportation is also possible. Parking by car costs \u20ac20 per day.<\/p>\n<h2>An orange sports summer as context<\/h2>\n<p>The KLM Open 2026 is presented as the kickoff of the orange sports summer. Amsterdam is full of major events in the coming months, from WorldPride to The Weeknd in the ArenA. The KLM Open in early June is the sporting kickoff to that season.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are available by the day. As of today, May 21, last-minute rates apply.
