Behind the concept are Mickey and Yoeri de Jong, Laura Thonhauser, Sa\u00efd Bardan and Vladimir Orelio. After the success of Jondani<\/a> and MeWe<\/a> entrepreneurs saw a clear shift in the nightlife behavior of Amsterdam residents. Guests are increasingly looking for venues where culinary level, atmosphere and entertainment blend seamlessly. Rotate responds exactly to that need.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new establishment spans two floors and exudes an international allure. On the first floor, an imposing bar is the centerpiece of the space, while upstairs the open kitchen and chef's table provide an intimate and dynamic experience. Around the kitchen, guests experience the preparation of dishes up close, from refined sashimi and nigiri to premium Japanese wagyu and king crab. The kitchen is led by chef Kent Neri, who combines a classic French base with Asian influences.<\/p>\n

When it comes to drinks, Rotate is also firmly committed to experience. The wine list has approximately 250 references and an extensive sake list has been developed in collaboration with master sake sommelier Menno Tol. The cocktail menu follows on seamlessly, with creations tailored to the dishes and the atmosphere of the evening.<\/p>\n

What sets Rotate apart from many other restaurants in Amsterdam is the way music becomes part of the overall experience. As the evening progresses, a DJ slowly takes over, subtly transforming the restaurant from fine dining destination to lively meeting place. In doing so, Rotate perfectly matches the international trend in which dining and nightlife are increasingly coming together.<\/p>\n

The interior, designed in collaboration with Woodfever, reinforces that feeling. Dark red marble, chrome details, rich fabrics and warm oak create a stylish setting that feels luxurious without becoming distant. With room for about 130 guests inside and a terrace for 20, Rotate already seems destined to become a new fixture on Leidseplein.<\/p>\n
