Co-founder Staas Lucassen started RADION together with four others, and those five made a conscious choice for a space that was not immediately recognizable as a club. What also typifies RADION is that it does not operate as a rental venue. The club chooses who they work with. Promoters and artists are selected based on whether they match the content of the community's values, not purely on commercial grounds.
