But somewhere between the concrete and the cranes sits Thuishaven, a venue that has now won its own place in the dance landscape. Not a club, not a warehouse, anything else. Every Sunday it opens its doors for a ten-hour daytime show, with genres that change from house and techno to trance and melodic electronic music.

What sets Thuishaven apart is the format of the sets. No alternating DJs every hour, but headliners who take care of the entire day. Eelke Kleijn was already there for a 10-hour set, as were Bart Skils (May 9, 2026) and Benny Rodrigues (Aug. 15, 2026). Michel de Hey is doing it for the tenth time in July 2026: 10 hours on the main stage. That's not a program decision, that's a statement. Adam Beyer was there in March, Claptone is on April 18 for three hours. Mr. Belt & Wezol will take the honors on May 17 for a full marathon set.

The venue itself consists of five areas. Outside is the Temple, the open-air main stage where most of the day takes place. Inside is the Shed, covered and a different atmosphere. And then there is the Secret area, whose name really says it all. That combination of inside and outside, day and night, makes you decide how you experience the day. If you want to catch the night show, which runs until 4 a.m., you can book it separately. Tickets start at 14.50 euros for a night show, for big headliners you pay around 31.50 euros.

Michel de Hey is doing it for the tenth time in July 2026: ten hours on the main stage.
