Eggs, baguettes with Dutch toppings, soup or a salad. And as early as 11:00 a.m. you can go for cheese, bitterballen and charcuterie, because why wait until the evening. Dinner changes: meat, fish or vegetarian, depending on what's on the table that day. Day snack is fairly priced, no frills.<\/p>\n

The building sits in a great spot: on the corner near Rembrandt Park, in the neighborhood called de Baarsjes, which has been a mix of regulars and newcomers for years. The interior breathes brown pub, but the historical photos on the wall give it just a little more body. Those photos are there for a reason: Wolff and Koker put them together in collaboration with the Stadsarchief Amsterdam. Neighborhood history on the walls, beer in the glass. There's also an outdoor space, and the place can be rented for events.<\/p>\n
