The unique thing about this exhibition? Everything you see can not only be admired, but also bought and borrowed. This is Factor IJ's clever response to the growing interest in art rentals and accessible art experiences - a trend that is becoming increasingly visible within the Amsterdam art scene.

The exhibition constitutes a visual journey through time. Historical milestones from 200 years of photography are subtly interwoven with contemporary work, creating an inspiring dialogue between then and now. Think of the powerful portraits of Angèle Etoundi Essamba, the narrative photography of Thana Faroq and the iconic work of Gijsbert Hanekroot. Local talent will also be given a stage, including IJburg talent representing the newest generation of photographers.

In addition to the exhibition, the festival offers a dynamic fringe program that actively engages visitors.
