MIRO has been one of De Pijp's newest additions since early 2026. The coffee bar and bakery is right on Ceintuurbaan, within walking distance of metro and streetcar stops. This makes it one of those places where you can easily drop in: on your way to work, between appointments or as a regular stop during a tour of the neighborhood.<\/h2>\n

The focus here is clearly on specialty coffee. You notice it in everything: from the way the baristas are attentively at the espresso machine to the quiet daily schedule with only daytime openings. MIRO really focuses on the time during the day when you want a good cup of coffee, unhurried, with something tasty to go with it.<\/p>\n

Besides coffee, much revolves around pastries and other baked goods. A selection of fresh pastries is standard on the bar, complemented by light lunch dishes. Think sandwiches or other simple, easy-to-match lunch options befitting of a neighborhood joint you'll sit down to in an instant. The baked goods come from their own bakery or from local bakers, with an emphasis on fresh and well-made.<\/p>\n
