The Opera Circus is a performance that brings baroque music and contemporary circus together in an extraordinary way. The production honors George Frideric Handel, a key figure in Baroque music, by intertwining his dramatic compositions with circus techniques that enhance the spectacle on stage. Led by directors Serge van Veggel and Aed\u00edn Walsh, it creates a combination of classical opera and visual circus, in which the energy of the circus breathes new life into timeless music.<\/h2>\n

The performance is a joint production of OPERA2DAY and the Netherlands Bach Society, two respected cultural institutions that are touring throughout the Netherlands with this project. Soon they can be seen in major theaters such as the Royal Theater Carr\u00e9 and the Koninklijke Schouwburg, among others. These venues provide spatial stages on which the drama of both the musical compositions and the physical circus acts can be fully appreciated.<\/p>\n
