In the renovated H'ART Museum, the innovation of photography comes to life. With a major solo exhibition by Jan Dibbets, visitors are taken through a crucial period in his career, during which he became a pioneer of modern art photography. Dibbets, born in 1941 in Weert, switched his momentum from painting to photography in a matter of decades, and this exhibition explores that transition in detail.<\/h2>\n

The exhibition, titled \"Jan Dibbets 1966-1976 Toward Another Photography,\" shows the evolution of Dibbets' work during these important years. This period marks his transition from minimalist paintings to exploring photography as a medium. It was his works from Riekje Swart's gallery that put him in the spotlight for this.
