From September 28, 2025 to February 8, 2026, EYE Film Museum will set the stage for a tribute to one of the most intriguing film figures of our time. Ongoing<\/em> is not a classic retrospective, but a personal selection by Swinton herself. <\/strong><\/p>\n

For her exhibition, the actress invited eight artistic soulmates to show work that reflects their bond: Pedro Almod\u00f3var, Luca Guadagnino, Joanna Hogg, Derek Jarman, Jim Jarmusch, Olivier Saillard, Tim Walker and Apichatpong Weerasethakul.<\/p>\n

Expect a kaleidoscopic experience merging film, photography, fashion and installation art. The exhibition highlights Swinton's fascination with transformation, timelessness and transcending identity. For example, her collaboration with British avant-garde filmmaker Derek Jarman - with whom her career once began - is still palpable in her artistic choices.<\/p>\n

Contemporary gems are also given a stage: think Guadagnino's sensual visual style or Weerasethakul's poetic stillness. Each contribution is more than a work - it is a dialogue between Swinton and her artistic kindred spirits.<\/p>\n
