You rearrange your understanding of \"Made in China\" at the start of Made in China<\/em>, to be seen from Oct. 17 to Aug. 30<\/strong> at the World Museum Amsterdam. There, you won't just see ancient porcelain art or a 4,500-year-old storage jar - interactive maps show the web of trade routes, from Silk Road to Belt & Road.<\/p>\n

But the museum goes further. Fashion makers such as Feng Chen Wang and Susan Fang are given a stage with innovative designs: a futuristic suit and sustainable dresses, freshly wrapped in fashion principles interwoven with Chinese traditions. You will also find visual media such as Black Myth: Wukong and work by Chinese-Dutch artist Ting Wong - all one statement: making is now and always alive.<\/p>\n

The installation is cleverly designed: audiovisual layers, poetry of migrant workers, mass production reflections and installation art invite you to think about symbolism, production and consumption.<\/p>\n
