That wasn't a given until recently. Now the Marineterrein is officially recognized as a swimming spot, a historic decision for the city. Here you swim in clear water with a panoramic view of Amsterdam's skyline, with the iconic <a href=\"\/en\/culture\/maritime-museum\/\">Maritime Museum<\/a> and the futuristic Nemo Science Museum in the background.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Marineterrein is the perfect place for recreation.
