Fabrique des Lumi\u00e8res at the Westergasfabriek is the largest immersive art center in the Netherlands. In a large industrial space with walls up to 17 meters high, you can experience sensory-stimulating exhibitions by iconic artists such as Rembrandt, Dal\u00ed, Klimt, da Vinci, Van Gogh, Matisse, Gaud\u00ed, and now Jimmy Nelson. \nDuring the cold fall months, Fabrique des Lumi\u00e8res is showcasing the work of Dutch-British photographer Jimmy Nelson. Moving images from his photo series *Before They Pass Away*, *Homage to Humanity*, and *The Last Sentinels*. An overwhelming tribute to humanity. In this exhibition, Jimmy Nelson\u2019s iconic photographs are enlarged to life-size proportions through a combination of photography, film, animation, and sound.<\/p>\n

Nelson places the people in front of his camera on a pedestal, giving extraordinary and often almost forgotten communities a dignified and visible platform.
