One of the most established and versatile art events in the Netherlands, the KunstRAI, will once again open its doors to an impressive collection of gallery owners and creative minds from both home and abroad from Wednesday, April 22 through Sunday, April 26. From far and near, art enthusiasts and collectors travel to enjoy contemporary painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry and design, created by both renowned names and emerging talents, with the opportunity to purchase something. Contemporary painting is traditionally the backbone of the fair, and again this year galleries are bringing the lion's share of that.<\/p>\n

But KunstRAI has long since ceased to be just paintings on the wall. Photo art and photography have gained a firm foothold, as have applied arts and postwar art for those who want to delve a little deeper into history. And then there are the art books, a separate segment for the collector who also likes to read. About 100 galleries from the Netherlands and abroad all have their own stands, each with their own selection and taste.<\/p>\n

With more than 100 interested parties from the Netherlands and abroad, KunstRAI provides an ideal environment to meet new faces in the art scene as well as established figures. The rich variety of forms of expression - from canvases and three-dimensional works to photography and design - ensures that the event is attractive and inspiring to anyone with a passion for art.<\/p>\n
