Unfortunately, Neighborhood Farm Central faced a devastating fire in August 2024 that completely razed its original location in Westerpark. Fortunately, the organization quickly found a temporary home at the Marineterrein. This makeshift location will allow it to continue providing its services to the community while plans are underway to rebuild the original farmhouse. Reconstruction is expected to be complete by 2026.

At Neighborhood Farm Central, accessibility is paramount. Everyone is welcome, regardless of financial situation. You can get a cup of tea or filter coffee here for just €1.50. For holders of a city pass, there are also extra discounts available on the various dishes. Neighborhood Farm Central is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.. On Saturdays, they welcome visitors between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The lunchroom is closed on Sundays, but offers a warm place during the week for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy an affordable meal.
