Synergy Art Festival in Flevopark: Art installations & music

On Friday, July 25, Flevopark transforms into a vibrant cultural playground during Synergy Art Festival. Art, club culture, performance and community merge in a daylong program where young talent and established acts meet. What makes this festival unique? An inclusive approach where culture is not a luxury, but a shared experience.

In the middle of the green heart of Amsterdam East, Synergy Art Festival returns with an edition brimming with creativity and connection. Under the curation of artist Bogomir Doringer, a program unfolds in which art installations, performances and music come together to create a sensory experience. For example, the inflatable maze Colourscape transforms into an experiential world of color and sound, where Amanda Payne and Nadia Bakhshi put on a poetic performance. Reaching into the sky is Aérosculpture, a floating ladder by Jean-Pierre David that stimulates the imagination.

Belgian acts Vive La Fête and The Subs provide musical highlights with their danceable electro sounds, while Brass Rave Unit puts on an energetic live show merging techno and horns. In contrast, the Young Boy Dancing Group's raw, physical intensity brings the park to life at unexpected moments.

In addition to music and performance, Synergy offers space for encounter and expression. Workshops range from DJing and graffiti to textile upcycling, and in the Drawing Station, works of art are created to the rhythm of sound. Children and the elderly are invited to special activities filled with play and wonder. And then there are Close-Act's Sauruses: life-size, playful birds that move curiously among the audience.

"Synergy proves that art is not a privilege, but a shared meeting space where everyone is welcome."

A partnership with No Art Festival allows Synergy to use shared infrastructure, keeping the festival accessible. Admission is free for city pass holders, local residents, refugees and children under 12. Students pay €10 and regular visitors only €15. Synergy is not a commercial event, but a celebration of art as a meeting place.
